TITLE: AMENDMENT 4 TO THE PUBLIC WORKS AGREEMENT WITH PATTERSON BROTHERS LIGHTING FOR STREET LIGHT REPAIRS AND KNOCKDOWNS
RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the City Council approve Amendment 4 to the Public Works Agreement (PWA) with Patterson Brothers Lighting (Patterson), for streetlight repairs and maintenance in the amount of $88,000, for a revised Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-26 annual total of $360,565; authorize the City Manager or designee, to execute the amendment upon receipt of all supporting documents; and authorize the Financial Services Director, or designee, to execute the change order.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
On June 21,2023, the City Council approved a three-year PWA with Patterson, in the amount of $150,000, with three additional one-year renewals. On April 10, 2024, City Council approved Amendment 1 to the Patterson PWA for an additional amount of $20,000 for one-time repairs for FY 2023-2024. On February 19, 2025, the City Council approved Amendment 2 to the Patterson PWA, in the amount of $65,860, for FY 2024-25 with Patterson Brothers Lighting, for additional one-time streetlight repair & replacement.
Amendment 3 to the Patterson PWA was for Field Lighting Upgrades to Ron Ortega Park in the amount of $122,565. The amendment along with the $150,000 annual renewal for FY 2025-26 revises the PWA amount to $272,565.
Amendment 4 to the Patterson PWA for an additional $88,000 in funding is being requested to address streetlight repairs, maintenance, and knockdowns. This amendment along with the $150,000 annual renewal for FY 2025-26 and the $122,565 for the Ron Ortega Park Ballfield Lighting project revises the PWA amount to $360,565.
With City Council authorization, staff is prepared to move forward promptly with procurement and installation of street light materials for repairs and knockdowns.
FISCAL IMPACT
Amendment 4 to the PWA with Patterson in the amount of $88,000 will be charged to the Knockdown Repairs account which has an available balance of $89,625; therefore, sufficient funds are available.
