Staff and the Library Board of Trustees recommend that the City Council approve the Library Board of Trustees 2025-2027 Workplan.

BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS
As specified in the Library Board of Trustees Bylaws Section 5.2 Presentation of Library Board Workplan, the Library Board of Trustees will develop a workplan for review by the City Council. The workplan outlines Board goals and objectives for the following two years.
The updated workplan for 2025-2027, in alignment with City Council Strategic Goals, supports goals, responsibilities and strategies of the Library’s 2024-2028 Strategic Plan which includes:
• Enhancing Community Awareness
• Expanding Library Usage
• Fostering Cultural Inclusivity
• Promoting Sustainability
• Strengthening Community Engagement & Partnerships

COMMISSION OR COMMITTEE REPORT
The Library Board of Trustees unanimously approved the Library Workplan 2025-2027 at its November 26, 2024 meeting.
