Request by Councilmember Joyce and Mayor Sanchez to direct staff to re-establish the Oceanside Youth Commission. The scope of work for the commission would include making suggestions to City Council on youth-related issues and providing a youth perspective on the ongoing work of our City. This opportunity would allow youth from our city to feel empowered to engage and participate with local government as well as provides City officials with the opportunity to hear and address our youth's concerns.
